When there is accompanying photographic and/or radar evidence, then researchers have three viable forms of proof to ponder.

The problem lies in what the researchers believe is behind the phenomenon. Their preconceptions slant what they accept as raw data and what conclusions can be drawn from it. That is not science but propaganda.

I am of the opinion that if UFO researchers used police interrogation techniques on witnesses that do not lead them on, then researchers would be better equipped to be objective. Once witness statements are made, then the researchers must stop, then move on to gathering more data and draw their conclusions later on.

Too many investigators become obsessed with proving one or more of their pet theories to ever want to move on to new data. They rehash the same old stories, for that is what most reports amount to, then rake in book sales and appearance fees at UFO and science fiction conventions.

In-fighting and empty theorizing over the past 70 years of "research" has also done nothing other than to muddy up the water to the point where nothing but suspicion and innuendo comes from the insiders of the community. What could have been original science has become entertainment for the masses.

Perhaps the only researchers today who have done anything of value are the scientists who have studied the Hessdalen Valley phenomenon in Norway. For over 30 years the valley has been subject to countless hours of observation of what can safely be called "UFOs', though they are loathe to state that fact openly for fear of ridicule.

For them, what they observe is a natural, yet unknown force of nature.

The simple fact that no physical "flying saucer" has been recovered over the past several thousand years suggests that the same conclusion can be made for what most people call UFOs.rroffelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03767963395501077608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297935984616304783.post-27922047186406673572016-03-20T15:01:43.791-04:002016-03-20T15:01:43.791-04:00Mind control - I suspect Ufology and the paranorma...Mind control - I suspect Ufology and the paranormal community in general give the CIA and other intelligence entities too much credit for mind control experiments. If they ever found a "magic bullet" for mind control, we'd all unconditionally love and totally support the government in all its activities and proposed endeavors and there would be no Tea Party or Libertarians or other strongly anti-government factions in our society (not that I endorse them).

If the government did conduct abductions (which likely were carefully targeted and not very widespread), which some later interpreted as alien abduction, I doubt they were done primarily for mind control purposes. That might have been a later add on. I suspect government abductions could have been tied to testing for the long-term and generational biological effects of radioactive fallout as a result of Cold War atmospheric weapons testing done on US soil and offshore tests that later dumped radioactive fallout directly on US soil. I think we still don't know the true extent of the radiation exposure of the US population at that time. We could still be effected by that radiation because of the long half-lives involved. Incidentally, I also suspect some cattle mutilations might be tied to this type of testing, as well.

The really successful mind control exercises are performed in the private sector daily. They're called marketing. It's amazing how deeply involved the neuropsychological community is in testing and developing marketing techniques. Just look at the marketing strategies of Apple, for one. Who can deny that looking at Apple objectively, it appears to be extremely successful at mind control? Salivating over the next overpriced i-Phone release that you'll gladly purchase at any price? Why do you think that is?
purrlgurrlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06519835482606629362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297935984616304783.post-53500843101236134952016-03-19T03:50:28.012-04:002016-03-19T03:50:28.012-04:00How can beings be framed, if they do not exist? How can beings be framed, if they do not exist?Dennis Richardsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06011744150262538780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297935984616304783.post-18330496493915990992016-03-18T22:58:38.321-04:002016-03-18T22:58:38.321-04:001. Are we actually talking about “UFOs” ?

2. or are we talking about “those who see UFOs” ?

<< or ‘experience a close encounter’ or ‘ something even ‘closer’ ….>>

1. Are we talking about the “evidence” of a “scientific” investigation.

2. Or are we talking about “eye witness” testimony as presented in court ?

IOWs , talking ‘face to face’ with a ‘grey’ is not the same subject as ‘seeing a UFO’ - just to begin with….
And this seems to me to be where we should begin our ‘mutual understanding’ of the subject (of UFOs).

((and I can discuss ‘perspectives’ from ‘personal experience’ …..on what I’ve seen and what I’ve experienced ))mouseonmoon mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13920006114625021133noreply@blogger.com
